Job Description

Job Title : PACU Nurse

Job Specialty : Phase II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday

Guaranteed Hours : Full-time

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty

License : Current and active nursing license

Certifications : AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Certification

Must-Have : Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Description :

• Provide compassionate care and support to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their response to waking from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions from the operating room.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
