American Traveler is seeking a travel Vascular Sonographer for a travel job in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of photoplethysmography experience and ARDMS RVT or RVS certification for weekend evening shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a vascular ultrasound unit focused on radiology and cardiology imaging
  • Weekend shifts are Friday to Sunday from 1 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • Daily caseload averages 10-12 vascular ultrasounds per technologist
  • Patient population includes adults requiring vascular imaging
  • No on-call or floating to other units or facilities required
  • Recent Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
  • Must pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test during orientation with one attempt
  • Moderate Sedation Test required during orientation, if applicable
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; additional RTO will not be considered
  • Attendance policy strictly enforced, with contracts subject to cancellation if more than two shifts are missed during the assignment
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in vascular ultrasound; 2 years preferred
  • Current ARDMS RVT or RVS certification required; license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • Photoplethysmography experience required
  • Pending state license accepted if obtained prior to start
  • Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
