Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline : Therapy Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 45 hours per week Shift : 9 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Location : Islandia, NY 11749 Schedule & Hours : Full-Time (Guaranteed 45 hours / week) Tue–Fri : 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch) Saturdays : 8 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM Saturday Requirement : Work 3 Saturdays / month Expected Start Date : ASAP Guaranteed Hours : 45 hrs / week Position Summary We are hiring full-time Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) who are skilled, motivated, passionate, and eager to grow in a dynamic clinical environment. You will work one-on-one with clients, help them achieve meaningful and life-changing goals, and provide support to their families. Roles & Responsibilities Deliver individualized one-on-one care (sessions 1–3 hours) for children and adults with neurological or developmental challenges. Assist clients in improving mobility, function, and independence . Serve as a resource for families , educating and supporting them throughout the therapy journey. Document and track client progress accurately and efficiently. Participate in daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly team meetings . Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care . Contribute to client retention and referrals by delivering exceptional care. Engage in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development to enhance clinical and communication skills.
