Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner

High-demand locum opening for a Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner in a well-established outpatient cancer center near Washington, D.C.! Perfect for providers who want minimal patient load , excellent support , and top-tier compensation with full travel perks.

Location : Wheaton, MD

Rate : $125 / hr (negotiable)

Schedule Options :

3 days / week (M / W / F)

5 days / week (M F)

️ 8-hour shifts

Assignment Highlights :

All adult patients no pediatric or internal medicine

Outpatient setting with occasional inpatient consults ( 2 / day)

Total patient load 10 / day mostly chronic management

EPIC EMR

Bilingual support available (Spanish-speaking patients)

Surgical Oncologist, Breast Surgeon, Radiation Oncologists

No chemo administered onsite sent to offsite infusion center

️ Duties : Order tests, imaging

Intrathecal chemo, biopsies

Tumor Board participation

Catheter / VAD management

Prescriptions

Submission Requirements :

Active MD license, DEA, CDS

Board Certification + ACLS / BLS

Note preferred days / week availability

Note location of travel origin (priority to local NPs)
