Parts Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums paid in specific circumstances.

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions:

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs.
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone.
• Responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updates.
• Perform various daily operational tasks.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training.
• Perform various in-store services for customers.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Desired:

• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
