Position Summary : The TYM North America Territory Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships within a designated territory for TYM products. The Territory Manager identifies new dealer opportunities, develops dealers, and evaluates dealer performance, in line with established sales goals and performance metrics. The Territory Manager serves as the “face” of TYM North America to the dealer network within the assigned territory and serves as a primary point of contact for resolving dealer concerns. The successful candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional capable of expanding market share within their assigned territory of DE, MD, VA or NC.
Job Functions :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure alignment of territory strategies with overall company goals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets within the territory for wholesale and / or retail sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing TYM North America dealers in the territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned customer base.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high quality dealerships to sell and support the TYM brand.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement local campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities within the territory.
- Train new and current dealers in product information as well as policies and procedures as needed to be a successful TYM dealer.
- Provide training and support to customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Work closely with the customer support team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Review dealer sales and inventory to ensure adequate inventory level and mix.
- Resolve dealer issues within territory.
- Communicate regularly with the main office regarding status of territory, including dealer performance and issues, competitive issues, retail conditions, and forecasts of sales.
- Up to 50% of travel within the region is required.
Job Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.Proven experience in tractor / agricultural equipment sales, with a successful track record in territory management.Strong understanding of the tractor / agricultural equipment market and industry dynamics within the assigned territory.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed territory sales targets.Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel; Proficiency with Salesforce.Effective communication and customer service skills.Strong organization and leadership skills.This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
