Position : ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

Contribute to a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.

Monitor and document patient vitals during surgical procedures.

Evaluate and suggest improvements for surgical processes and workflows.

Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.

Utilize data and metrics to assess and enhance surgical outcomes.

Assist in the orientation and training of new surgical tech staff.

Experience / Qualifications

Certification as a Surgical Technologist with current CST credentials.

Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control protocols.

Experience in an operating room setting, assisting with various surgical procedures.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and healthcare teams.

Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
