Veterinary Technician - Triage

The Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC-MN) is looking for a full-time Veterinary Triage Technician to add to our Emergency team.

Role Title : Veterinary Technician - Triage

Department : Emergency

Shift : Day (7am-3pm & 7am-5pm), Swing (11am-9pm), Evening (3pm-1am)

Schedule : Variable - both rotating and fixed schedule options may be available.

• Weekends Required, no more than 50% per month.
• Holidays are required, no more than four per year.

The primary function of the Triage Technician is to serve as a patient advocate through triage, communication, and education of the client, as well as be an extension of the Treatment Technician and DVM regarding client interaction. Additionally, the Triage Technician is expected to promote professional growth through education and learning opportunities.
