Job Description :
As the Building Engineer you will, perform highly complex repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, equipment, fixtures and systems.
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of HVAC, EMS / BMS, Electrical and Plumbing.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery and equipment.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
- Coordinate the work of outside contractors.
- Provide work leadership for lower level maintenance mechanics through assignment of work.
- Provide technical guidance and review of assignment progress.
Qualifications :

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires at least 5 years related experience.Expert knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Expert knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of, buildings, or other structures.Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Able to move at least 50 lbs.WHAT WE OFFER :
