Job descriptionThe OB / GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for : Serving as backup support to the primary hospitalist team Providing care during surge volume, emergencies, or unplanned absences Delivering obstetric and gynecologic care per hospitalist protocols Maintaining 24-hour availability during scheduled shifts Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active medical license and DEA in applicable state BLS / ACLS certification Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience preferred EMR experience (EPIC a plus) Strong communication and clinical judgment Excellent critical thinking and response under pressure Professional, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
A well-respected health system in New Jersey is seeking an OB / GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour backup call coverage. This role ensures continuous hospital coverage and patient safety while supporting the hospitalist team.
