JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business problems in the logistics domain and designing software solutions while providing end-user support. This person will be involved in a project to develop our current and next-generation freight management system, which will be used globally throughout the NNR network. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems analysis and design and will support end-user needs.
Duties & Functions
Essential :
- Manage software Change Management process including RFCs (requests for change), classification of impact and priority, and obtaining necessary change approvals.
- Track all open projects and maintenance tasks using a defined project management method.
- Work with product owners gathering, analyzing, designing, and testing of software change requests.
- Perform software training for end users and quality assurance testing.
- Define and document any new business requirements, needs, and processes tied to solutions.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures. Participate in the review of internal controls and procedures
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and solutions.
- Support Users need to understand their workflow process better.
- Provide additional support to Helpdesk as needed to ensure End-User's needs are met.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

Education & Experience :
Minimum associate's degree or equivalent 2-year's college in Information Technology. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field preferred.At least 2-3 years of experience working in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.Ability to use SQL to query database to assist troubleshooting and be able to understand complex accounting stored procedure and batch code.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 0365 software suite. Knowledge of security tools, policies, and procedures.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Physical requirements :
Regular use of hands to finger, handle or feel; frequent walking, standing, talking, hearing, and reaching with hands and arms; occasional sitting.Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.Some after-hours communications with subsidiaries in their time zones either for training or support may be necessary.Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and / or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
