Your Mission
As the Technical Accounting Manager at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor to the preparation of Financial Statements, preparation of supporting schedules for the Financial Statements and creating supporting documentation for technical accounting positions. This role will be responsible for primary drafting of the company's Financial Statements and related disclosures. This role will perform accounting research and document the company's accounting positions. This role will be primarily responsible for drafting documentation on ASC 606 and ASC 842.
Responsibilities
Timely complete monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close including some journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal controlsPrepare Financial Statements and related disclosuresPrepare accounting documentation for the Company's accounting positions & policiesComplete equity reconciliations and book equity entries monthPrepare and book lease entries in accordance with ASC 842Complete accounting research for complex accounting issuesSupport development of internal framework of FAR accounting standards and DCAA complianceSupport Financial Statement audit as requiredReview contracts for accounting treatment and document conclusionsEducate and train stakeholders and senior leaders on accounting impacts of technical transactionsSupport month end accounting close as requiredCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that transactions are captured and the financial statements are completeOther duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experienceBig 4 experience preferredCPA designation preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication is requiredPrior experience writing financial statement disclosures is requiredPrior experience with performing accounting research is requiredPrevious experience government contract accounting, FAR accounting standards and DCAA compliance is a plusPrevious Aerospace and Defense experience a plus.Experience in a start-up environment is preferredOther
Work Location We observe a hybrid work environment, but the Company is headquartered in Denver, CO. Being local to the area is preferred, but not required.Compensation
Base Salary : $100,000 - $135,000Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA / HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

Work Location Successful candidates will be located near Denver or Colorado Springs.
