Insight Global is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a preeminent foundry for semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc. This position provides advanced financial planning and analysis and is a crucial member of the Finance team, playing a vital role to support business development models, budget preparation, financial reporting, and forecasting, development of pro forma financials for projects, grant applications, programs and other initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Reporting : Develop and maintain internal monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports to track budgets, variances, and forecasts to support hybrid academic / research and revenue-generating operations.
• Create financial coding schemes to categorize transactions for semiconductor manufacturing while remaining compliant with university reporting standards.
• Serve as the point of contact responsible for creating monthly, quarterly, and annual invoices and financial reports submitted to the federal sponsor.
• General : Serve as final approver for costing allocations and financial processes in Workday. Monitor stopgap accounts, process costing corrections, and initiate funding transfers.
• Review and approve departmental payment requests, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance.
• Maintain electronic applications for financial access and approvals. Process Improvement & Systems Optimization : Identify process inefficiencies and lead or support implementation of improvements.
• Assist with testing, training, and user adoption of improved processes and systems.
• Will serve as a key member of internal ERP integration projects, ensuring financial reporting, procurement, AP / AR, and other workflows align with their internal systems.
• Ad-Hoc Projects & Compliance Support : Serve as backup to the Director of Finance or team members. Assist with audits and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to university, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain documentation and records retention policies in accordance with their guidelines. Support ad-hoc projects. Other duties as assigned by supervisor, including supporting tasks outside of core responsibilities.
