Overview :

HTeaO, a thriving franchise in the tea industry, is growing fast, and so is our need for a

passionate and organized VP of Store Development to help fuel that momentum! This role is at

the heart of our franchise development operations, providing hands-on support to our

Franchisees. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in the details, loves process, and

is excited about helping local communities connect with the HTeaO brand.

Youll work cross-functionally with operations and franchise partners to execute our long-term

strategy of continued growth and market penetration. If youre a proactive problem solver who

enjoys juggling multiple projects and cares deeply about delivering great guest experiences, this

Key Responsibilities :

Growth Strategy & Planning :

  • In collaboration with executive leadership, develop and implement a comprehensive

store development strategy to support national franchise expansion.

  • Partner with Franchise Development, Real Estate and Operations to evaluate new and
  • existing markets to prioritize franchise growth.

    Store Design and Construction Project Management :

  • Lead the design and construction functions to ensure on-time, on-budget execution of
  • new store builds and remodels across diverse markets.

  • Maintain and evolve brand design standards, store prototypes, and layout guidelines to
  • balance efficiency and brand consistency.

  • Establish processes and vendor relationships that enable scalability and cost control for
  • franchisees.

  • Manage multiple store development initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely
  • completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.

    Team Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals involved in store development, including
  • designers, project managers and construction managers.

  • Establish a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments like franchise development, real estate, operations,
  • merchandising, marketing, legal, and IT to ensure smooth alignment and execution

    throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, landlords, external
  • vendors, contractors, government officials, and community organizations.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the broader senior leadership team on project
  • progress, timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators related to store

    development.

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team contributing to broader
  • strategic decisions.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate,
  • or a related field.

  • 10+ years of multi-unit retail, QSR, and franchise development experience including
  • experience in a leadership capacity managing cross-functional teams.

  • Proven track record of successful project management, including budget management
  • and on-time delivery of projects in a Franchise business model.

  • Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and the permit
  • entitlement approval process.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for design, project management, and data
  • analysis.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Friendly, energetic, and collaborative team player who is proactive and solution oriented.
