Plant Engineer III

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and provide for a safe working environment. Maintain and repair equipment across mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintain the building and its related systems. Be certified and / or licensed in a specific trade directly related to healthcare engineering.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics and / or blueprints
• Valid state driver's license
• Certified and / or licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering (e.g., Steam boiler, HVAC)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 to 5 years electrical experience preferred
• Knowledge of network cabling
• Familiar with the NEC
• Knowledge of 3-phase wiring
