Job description

Adena Cancer Center is seeking a casual Radiation Oncologist to assist with clinical responsibilities at the cancer center in Chillicothe.

This position offers :

  • 2 days a week schedule
  • No patient panel or hospital responsibilities
  • Flat daily rate compensation

Practice Details :

  • 40-50 Total Treatment Volumes per day
  • Physicians average 14-18 patients daily
  • Customizable schedules
  • New technology including Varian True Beam, Brain Lab, and advanced treatment techniques
  • Focus on top DX cases : Lung, Breast, Prostate, Colorectal
  • Participation in over 30 clinical trials

    • New Technology :

  • Gated breath hold (DIBH)
  • Respiratory gated radiotherapy
  • Service guided mapping (radiotherapy)
  • Robotic Bronchoschopy
  • SBRT & IMRT

    • Join a supportive team with 2 Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, Physicists, and a Nurse Practitioner. Physicians may customize their own schedule.  No weekends or evenings.
