Description :

The role involves working in a fast-paced emergency room environment.

RNs are expected to manage a variety of patient diagnoses including CP, COPD, DKA, trauma, and stroke.

The facility has a dedicated triage area consisting of two rooms.

Emergency room RNs will manage their own ER holds, with two separate psych hold rooms available.

In-house security is present for safety.

Every room is equipped with monitoring technology.

There is a monitor tech available 24 / 7.

The transportation for X-Ray or CT services is readily available.

Both phlebotomy and nurse-drawn blood samples are utilized.

Weekend requirements are every other weekend.

Holiday requirements will grant at least one holiday off.

There is no call or standby requirement for this position.

RNs are required to wear any scrubs, as there is no specific uniform.

Orientation includes at least two days before starting the rotation.

The cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled under specific conditions.

Charting is conducted using an established electronic medical record system.
