As the Emergency Department Manager, you’ll represent hospital administration in the absence of the Chief Operating / Nursing Officer and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. You’ll lead with integrity, drive performance improvement, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe staffing levels and match staff competency with patient acuity.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor progress annually.
• Provide onboarding and continuing education to meet scope of practice requirements.
• Interview, hire, counsel, and discipline staff while promoting a healthy work environment.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on budget planning and variance analysis.
• Partner with physicians and leaders to evaluate and enhance nursing services.
• Maintain clinical expertise and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop strategic goals that support innovation and shared decision-making.
