Surgery - General Physician

Permanent Position : Neurosurgeon in Pueblo, Colorado Join a thriving healthcare facility and be part of an exceptional Neurosurgery team in Pueblo, Colorado. We are seeking a Board-Eligible / Board Certified Neurosurgeon who is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts a collaborative environment, equipped with modern neuro-navigation tools and a supportive staff comprised of a seasoned neurosurgeon and four experienced advanced practice providers (APPs). Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive neurosurgery services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct clinic sessions averaging 8 to 12 patients per day, supported by PAs. Perform surgeries in the operating room with complete access to advanced medical technologies. Participate in 7 days of ER call per month, primarily reviewing images from home. Manage a call schedule that includes likely one weekend per month. Develop and grow an elective spine practice in a community with high demand for neurosurgical services. Utilize the EPIC documentation system for all medical records and patient information. Qualifications : Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery by the ABNS. Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one. Proven, clean malpractice history. Willingness to pursue Board Certification if Board Eligible. License and Certification Requirements : Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain). Clean malpractice history is mandatory. Active DEA registration must be obtained prior to employment.
