We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
- Receive and process prescriptions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding medication orders and billing.
- Maintain and manage inventory, restock supplies, and verify medication expiration dates.
- Enter patient and prescription data into pharmacy systems accurately.
- Support medication therapy management and patient counseling activities as directed by the pharmacist.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification preferred.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license as required by state regulations.1–3 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy setting.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and medical terminology.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
