Premier Caregiver Services is a locally owned in home caregiving agency in Louisville, KY 40207. We are innovative, autonomous and our goal is to provide exceptional care throughout the community.

Premier Caregiver Services has immediate openings for experienced caregivers in the Louisville, Kentucky area. We are looking for committed individuals who are dependable, respectful, compassionate, ethical and with flexible availability.

All shifts available: Weekdays and Weekend

Immediate openings for weekday and weekend shifts

Full time and part time available (PRN/as needed)

Responsibilities:

Display professional attitude while building a meaningful relationship with the client and their families. Attend to the client needs and notify Care Manager of changes or needs of the client. Tasks as a caregiver include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Transportation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Accompany clients to and from appointments
• Assistance with safe transferring, positioning and ambulation
• Laundry and light housekeeping
• Companionship, engaging conversation and activities
• Provide medication reminders and assistance
• Read printed materials
• Manage client reporting
• Some heavy lifting maybe required

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license, dependable transportation and car insurance.
• Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the client
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma/GED accepted
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest with little guidance
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and written documentation

Premier Caregiver Services is an independent, locally owned, Kentucky Licensed Personal Services Agency specializing in "non-medical", in-home, personal care services aimed at helping seniors maintain independence at home. Our goal is to enhance an individual's quality of life and prevent unnecessary hospitalizations, facility placements and anxiety.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour

Education:

Background check, drug screening, and TB screening will be done prior to hire.
