As a Security Professional - Armed Financial Site - Overnight Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for clients and visitors. This armed position requires you to remain visible, respond promptly to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help maintain a secure environment within the financial institution location.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or site contacts.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while armed, adhering to all relevant protocols and regulations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
