RJA Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential / Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team of trusted professionals dedicated to top-quality service. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all work meets industry standards. You'll also deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers on their HVAC systems, and provide expert recommendations. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking experienced HVAC technicians who are not only technically proficient but also have a proven ability to connect with customers and offer solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems (split systems, rooftop units, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, etc.)
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Provide accurate and detailed service reports and recommendations
  • Educate customers on system performance and future needs
  • Present and offer system upgrades, accessories, and maintenance agreements
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized, properly handling and maintaining tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Maintaining professionalism and integrity while interacting with customers and team members and building strong relationships.
  • Ensuring all work meets company and industry standards, following safety protocols, local HVAC codes, and company guidelines.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • At least 5 years of HVAC experience in a residential / Commercial setting
  • Familiarity with Service Titan or similar service management software is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and resolve issues efficiently.
  • A commitment to safety, professionalism, and providing high-quality service on every job.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in awkward positions
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, ensuring each customer feels valued and well-informed throughout their service experience.
