Job descriptionWork in a skilled nursing and rehab unit within a long-term care facility Patient population includes post-surgical, dementia, and rehabilitation residents Direct care for up to 20 residents; average daily census is 72 Utilizes lifting equipment and PowerChart EMR Three 12-hour day shifts weekly from 6 : 30 to 19 : 00 with every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Role involves providing specialized care including IV medication administration and wound care for Med / Surg and rehab patients Works closely with CNAs and HCAs in a collaborative team structure First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation Permanent employees must wait one year after previous employment before returning as a traveler Dress code requires any shade of blue scrubs Free parking available onsite Active IL RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, with rehab, acute care, or Med / Surg experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required IV certification required before start date Dementia care experience highly recommended Strong customer service skills needed Experience with PowerChart EMR preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
