Position Overview :

The School of Education announces an opportunity to apply for a full-time tenure-track (Assistant Professor rank) or non-tenure-track (depending on the candidate’s qualification) faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to begin Fall 2026.

Responsibilities :

The successful candidate for the tenure-track position will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Primarily teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development;
  • secondarily, interest in conducting quality scholarly research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals;
  • contributing service to the college community.

Qualifications : Required :

  • Applicants for the tenure track position must have an earned Ph.D. Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology (or Au.D.), or Speech and Hearing Science.
  • ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to or shortly after the time of employment.
  • Applicants must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • The successful candidate for the non-tenure track position will be responsible for effective teaching, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development at introductory levels.
  • Contributing service to the college community.
  • Applicants for the non-tenure track position must have an earned Master’s degree and must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Applicants with teaching experience will be given preference.
