Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Wound Care

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant on California's Central Coast.

We are seeking an experienced NP or PA to provide wound care services across Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, and San Luis Obispo County. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in wound care or a related field and is comfortable working independently in post-acute and community-based care settings. Spanish or other language skills are a plus.

Position Details:

Specialty: Wound Care
Start Date: [Flexible Based on Availability]
Contract Length: 3-6 months, with possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shifts: Full-time, 5x8s (No nights or weekends)
Call: No call required
Practice Setting:

• Nursing Homes
• Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
• Outpatient Clinics
• Home Visits

Work Locations:

• Santa Barbara County
• Ventura County
• San Luis Obispo County

Work Details:

• Deliver wound care management in multiple care settings
• Work independently with physician support as needed
• Use EMR systems for documentation
• Travel between sites (travel stipend or mileage reimbursement available)

Requirements:

• Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• DEA license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in wound care or related specialty
• Spanish or other language proficiency preferred
• Reliable transportation required
