Job descriptionProficient on all test instructions of at least 1 moderately complex instrument including functional and release testing. Analyze results and data to determine pass / fail and provide solutions when there is a fail result Identify defects, recommend design and process improvements as needed Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) A degree in mechatronics or relevant field with 0 years' experience or 5 years' experience in electrical, mechanical or software troubleshooting

Position : Instrument Test Technician
Duration : 12+ months Contract (Possibility of extension)
Location : Milpitas, CA 95035
1st shift 6am - 2 : 30pm M-Fri - must be able to work OT if needed
Job Overview :
- Performs both production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing and performance optimization.
- Performs basic electrical, mechanical or software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.
- Provides solutions as needed based on pass / fail criteria of instrument performance.
- Identifies and escalates any issues associated with instrument testing operations.
- Overall subject matter expert in instrument functional performance.
