Job descriptionMust be willing to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision servers
- Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
- Troubleshoot, test, and perform quality assurance of server hardware
- Resolve hardware issues via trouble tickets
- Comfortable lifting weights (around 50 lbs) and standing on ladders for extended periods
- Ready to travel when needed
Desired experience :
Operating system installation Windows Server, Linux, Unix
Cabling knowledge beyond dressing or running cabling, including port mapping and understanding cable types and purposes
Basic hardware troubleshooting using logical methods of resolution
Experience with Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment is a plus
Experience with RAID levels is a plus
Web server and database installation experience is a plus
