HPL Senior Underwriter

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Underwriter to join a newly formed team to help develop, manage and grow a book of complex healthcare professional liability accounts always with the goal of maintaining long term profitability. The ideal candidate will have :

• excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills,
• experience underwriting excess professional liability on an insurance and reinsurance basis, and
• good relationships with regional and national brokerage firms.

This is a ground floor opportunity with significant growth potential for the right candidate.
