Job description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of experience, ARRT(R), BLS, and Venipuncture certification for an evening shift assignment.

Job Details

  • Position based in an acute care hospital setting,
  • Assigned to the CT Tech unit,
  • Evening shift, working 5x8 hour shifts from 15 : 00 to 23 : 30,
  • Rotating weekend coverage is required,
  • Floating required between hospital units and affiliate hospitals in the area,
  • Uses Epic EMR, previous Epic experience required,
  • Patient population, ratios, and specific procedures are not specified,

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year CT Tech experience required,
  • Active ARRT(R), BLS, and Venipuncture certifications required,
  • Valid California state license required; license required if applicable,
  • Previous Epic experience required,
  • Candidates must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year within the past three years in a comparable specialty / setting,
  • RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of consideration,
  • Candidates must be able and willing to float during their assignment,

    • Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position,
  • Travelers must be willing to work two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year,
  • Scrub color is black for Imaging Techs,
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler,
  • A 50 mile radius rule applies for local candidates, who are accepted,
  • Free parking is available on site,
  • All travelers are expected to complete pre-start modules, averaging 16 hours,
  • Floating refusal may result in termination of assignment,
  • COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required,
