We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a well-established regional law firm with offices in New Jersey and Delaware. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, sound judgment, and a proven record of managing complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and related commercial claims.
- Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and appear in court.
- Provide strategic advice to clients and work collaboratively with partners and other team members.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development where possible.
Qualifications :
Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Delaware (Delaware license required).Prior commercial litigation experience and a solid, stable work history required.A portable book of business is highly valued but not required.Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills.Compensation & Incentives :
Base salary : $125,000–$200,000 (commensurate with experience).Billable requirement : 1,800 hours annually (approximately 150 per month).Origination incentive : 10% of gross fees received on originated matters.Bonus structure : Annual performance-based bonus ranging from $5,000 to $40,000+.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator seeking a collegial environment, competitive compensation, and long-term professional growth.
