Position : Faculty in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Columbia University
The Department of Urology at Columbia University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position specializing in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS, formerly FPMRS). The ideal candidate will be board-eligible (or board-certified) and have completed fellowship training in this specialty.
The role involves clinical practice mainly in Manhattan and Westchester County, with potential part-time work at the Bronx VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care, clinical research, and supervision / training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participation in departmental and academic activities is expected.
This position offers a full-time faculty appointment at Columbia University at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, along with a competitive benefits and compensation package.
The Columbia University Department of Urology comprises 30 full-time faculty members, multiple Advanced Practice Providers, and sponsors a 6-year ACGME-accredited residency program with three residents per year.
