Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible hematology / oncology physician

Multispecialty group employed position

Hiring due to growth and expansion

Full-time opening

13 infusion chairs in 2 separate rooms (6 or 7 each room)

5 private rooms for long term infusions.

They also handle non-infectious OP infusions and blood transfusions on a floor.

Average infusions / injections is between 15-20 / day in addition to the consultations and follow up patients.

They average between 20-30 consults / month. They have anywhere between 15-25 follow up patients / day. Volumes have increased. There are 6 exam rooms for the providers to see consultations and follow up in addition to the infusion rooms

Their nursing staff is all trained by the Oncology Nursing Society Cancer Chemotherapy / Immunotherapy course. They are all cross trained to the care of radiation patients since so many patients are receiving both modalities. Several of their staff are OCN's.

They have 5 cancer conferences / month (sometimes called tumor boards) - 2 breast conferences, 2 lung conferences, and one general conference. CMEs are provided for these conferences.
