Job Summary
Leads the Technical Services Group in a stable, reliable, cost effective and customer oriented data center that is occupied by various hardware platforms (HP 9000, RS / 6000, Intel servers, EMC SAN Storage solutions), operating systems (HP-UX, AIX, Microsoft Windows Server), and data bases (DMS, Oracle, SQL Server), each requiring unique support processes and management. Manages the Disaster Recovery solution and Change Management process to ensure that any changes or failures to any systems can and will be recovered. Routine administrative responsibilities include strategic and tactical plan development, staff management, budget preparation and monitoring, customer service impact, and coordination with other Information Services (IS) Groups. Has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the department. Sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
