Do you have a love for writing and helping people live healthier lives? Our Community & State Proposal Writers combine the creativity of writing with the technical aspects of providing compliant responses to help draft Medicaid proposals for new and existing state governments. They collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine and guide positioning of our offer, direct the preparation of supporting documents and analyses, support responses with graphics, and align documentation to company guidelines. They partner with sales, clinical, product, legal, finance and other functions to tailor contractual provisions to reflect prospects' needs, company interests, and appropriate resources and timelines. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of proposal / RFP content writing experience with relationship management and interviewing skills
2+ years of IT and claims health care proposal writing experience
2+ years of experience with project management with adherence to deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Medicaid proposal writing experience
All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
