EHS Program Manager

As an EHS Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work directly with Google Data Center partners, general contractors, electrical / mechanical trades and organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve the EHS programs and performance on our projects. You'll engage in pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, update the project manual, and communicate EHS expectations. You'll be involved in planning, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery. You'll be responsible for establishing and tracking a set of performance metrics, developing and implementing best practices including lessons learned, and regularly reporting out to stakeholders to help the organization scale efficiently.

Responsibilities include : leading the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction, including oversight and data collection; ensuring that contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements, and providing timely solutions to issues; monitoring, advising, and assisting the construction project teams to protect people, environment, and ensure compliance; driving a culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies, including goals and objectives; liaising with the Construction EHS team to ensure best practices are fully implemented; that progress is reported, trends and data are captured and analyzed; and that risk is mitigated to an acceptable level, ensuring that the operational capacity of a live Data Center is not compromised.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
