POSITION TITLE : CORE Program Leader

POSITION TYPE : School Year

PERFORMANCE PROFILE : Youth Development Professional

CLASSIFICATION : Part-Time / Non-Exempt

HOURS PER WEEK : Up to 18 hours per week

REPORTS TO : Site Coordinator

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Help oversee the successful implementation of services in the six core program areas : college, career, financial literacy, community engagement, health / life skills, and the arts.

KEY ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Youth Development

• Help support programs at assigned site.
• Assist members with Homework.
• Establish meaningful relationships with Boys & Girls Club members.
• Encourage positive reinforcement.

Program Development & Implementation

Academic Enrichment

Create lesson plans, program calendars, schedule of activities

Supervision

Additional Responsibilities

Contribute to ensuring that facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained.
