Pay Rate : $23.00 / HR on W2

Shift Hours : Monday Friday 9 : 30 AM-6 : 00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• If you have candidates that have at least 6 months of experience feel free to submit. We can shortlist so the manager can review and decide if the candidates combined education and experience will suffice for this role.
• CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate PTCB preferred but not required certificate.
• As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare specialty pharmacy you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients. Key responsibilities Communication with patients prescribers and colleagues.
• Frequent phone conversations emails faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions packaging medications for shipment processing copays researching financial assistance.
• Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Inventory management and storage complete appropriate documentation such as labels log sheets and reports.
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
• Per manager : just CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate PTCB can be left as a preferred but not required certificate.
• At least 1-year experience as a pharmacy technician. Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
