Our treatment team consists of psychiatrists, registered nurses, case management personnel, activities therapists and mental health technicians. BHU treatment programs consist of a variety of group and individual services including, but not limited to, relaxation techniques, medication management, management of acute symptoms, safety management and activity therapies. • Our Behavioral Health RNs use evidence-based practices to provide engaging treatments and foster positive outcomes\n
• As a BHU RN, you will provide short-term term intensive mental health treatment for adults in crisis\n
• You must function in an organized and time conscious manner\n
• You will initiate / document preoperative and discharge planning and patient teaching\n\nRequirements\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)\n
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license\n
• Current BLS certification\n
