Refrigeration Technician

$35 – $45 per hour (based on experience)

Full-Time

Shift : Day Shift 6am-2 : 30pm but subject to change.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at a leading manufacturing facility in Evansville, IN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems critical to our production and food safety processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and refrigeration equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair systems including electrical components, controls, compressors, and motors.

Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with company schedules and regulatory requirements.

Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and repairs.

Monitor system performance and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Support production and sanitation schedules by ensuring climate control systems are operating effectively and safely.

Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, and food safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with the Maintenance, QA, and Production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or HVAC certification strongly preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Availability for overtime, rotating shifts, and on-call support as needed.
