Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Ultrasound Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, rotating Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist Contract Length : 13 Weeks Shift : 12-Hour Varying Shifts (Full-Time) Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in vascular and obstetric sonography , along with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to provide accurate diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities : Perform vascular and obstetric ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Ensure high-quality imaging through correct patient positioning, technique, and image optimization. Operate and maintain a variety of major ultrasound equipment, software, and peripherals . Communicate effectively with physicians and other medical staff regarding imaging findings and workflow. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology . Maintain accurate records and comply with all state, federal, and departmental regulations . Participate in on-call rotations as assigned. Provide training and mentorship when required and assist in department quality improvement initiatives.
