Oceana Restaurant is seeking a Catering and Event Coordinator to join their events team.
Summary :
The Catering and Event Coordinator will assist with all apsects of event planning, ensuring a seamless experience for all clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working closely with the Director of Events in planning a diverse range of events in Oceana’s multiple private rooms, café / bar area, and West Park Beer Garden
- Creating banquet event orders, menus, place cards, and other event paperwork as needed
- Answering calls and emails from prospective clients
- Providing site tours as needed
- Handling the administration for outside catering orders
- Assisting with office supply ordering
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications : - Education :
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience :1-3 years of hospitality experience preferred
Skills :Excellent communication skillsAbility to multitask and work under pressure in an extremely fast-paced environmentProficiency in OpenTable and Microsoft 365 SuiteExperience with high end clienteleCompensation :
