American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Missouri requiring a compact or MO RN license and recent home health experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Home health position serving a diverse patient population with high acuity needsDay shifts, 5x8 hours, typically 08 : 00-16 : 30Average of 5-20 patient visits per day, managed by a daily point system with 5.2 points as productivity standardEvery fourth weekend required with two additional days off around scheduled weekendsOn-call rotation required for up to 3-5 nights per month, never scheduled on non-working daysTerritory covers a 40-80 mile radius with mileage reimbursed at $0.55 / mileNo floating required within scopeCharting is completed in EPICResponsibilities include lab draws, antibiotic / IV infusions, ostomy care, tube feeding, medication administration, wound vac application, cardiac infusions, and assessing socioeconomic and medical needsRoyal blue scrubs and close-toed shoes required; nurse must provide their own stethoscopeWeekly overnight on-call responsibilities are limited to nights following a worked dayFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionCandidates must not have been a permanent employee at the facility within the last yearA maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first weekModules and fit testing are completed during orientation; fit testing requirements prohibit facial hair that interferes with proper mask sealMileage reimbursement is provided for all required travel in the territoryUpon contract completion, all issued equipment must be returned\n \n Requirements\n
Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license accepted for considerationMinimum 1 year of home health experience or 1-2 years of med-surg or acute care requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredEPIC charting experience requiredPhlebotomy, port access and care, wound vac, ventilator knowledge, compression wraps, CADD pump use, ECG monitoring and telemetry interpretation, IV care, wound care, and disease management skills requiredMust provide valid Social Security Number and Date of Birth for considerationNo local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius\n Benefits\n
