POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Join our dedicated team as a PRN Ambulatory LVN, where you will provide compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients. Your role will require you to monitor patients' conditions while adhering to the security protocols set forth by the Bexar County Adult Detention Center and Central Magistrate's Office. You will be instrumental in delivering care that meets or exceeds established standards within the framework of University Health (UH) and Detention Health Care Services (DHCS) policies. Your commitment to our mission, vision, and values will foster excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
We prefer candidates with experience in correctional healthcare, psychiatric nursing, or emergency nursing settings. Familiarity with University Health's nursing services or certification as a Certified Correctional Health Care Provider (CCHP) will be beneficial.
LICENSURE
