Overview

Director of Engineering role based in Miami, FL. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines technical expertise with operational oversight to shape the direction of engineering initiatives and mentor a talented team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Oversee engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
Develop and implement engineering strategies, processes, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, project management, and business development, to drive technical excellence and innovation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support for complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

Proven experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably within a consulting, construction, or professional services environment.

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.

Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning with day-to-day operations.
