Job Description :
As a Server at The Fat Pigeon, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by providing excellent service, detailed knowledge of our menu, and a welcoming attitude. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the overall atmosphere and success of our bar.
Responsibilities :
- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverages, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in periodically and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking supplies.
- Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit transactions.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and service.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant or bar.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, including cocktails, wine, and beer.Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.Preferred Qualifications :
