We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level attorney to join our practice in Salinas, California. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a recent law school graduate to gain hands-on experience in estate planning, real estate litigation, and construction law. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and passionate about serving the local community while advancing their legal career.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct client consultations and assist in creating comprehensive estate plans tailored to individual needs.
• Handle various aspects of litigation, including real estate disputes and construction law cases, from initiation to resolution.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, demands, and responses to discovery requests.
• Perform detailed legal research and provide thorough analyses to support case strategies and decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to advocate for clients' interests.
• Represent clients in court by attending hearings, motions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Actively participate in networking events and community initiatives to build relationships and promote the firm.
• Assist in pro bono or low-cost legal services to support the Spanish-speaking community.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to contribute to the firm's overall success.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; candidates awaiting bar results may also be considered.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Office applications and other relevant legal software.
• Availability to work on a permanent basis, Monday through Friday, on-site at the Oxnard office.
