Responsibilities include :

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction in all interactions.
• Interpreting physicians' prescriptions and accurately entering prescription and patient data into our computer system.
• Overseeing the filling process, providing guidance to pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal health codes.
• Counseling patients about medication side effects, administration, and potential drug interactions.
• Consulting with prescribers regarding drug therapy and making informed decisions for patient care.
• Administering immunizations according to established protocols.
• Monitoring and maintaining patient profiles and inventory levels to ensure optimal service.
• Performing daily operational duties and adhering to department policies and best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Identifying and reporting any illegal activities to store management.
• Complying with food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Maintaining physical stamina to regularly perform duties, including lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed.
