SUMMARY :

Renewal by Andersen has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in our Fort Myers, FL location! This individual will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, checking, and storing merchandise and materials. They will assist in fulfilling requisitions and orders, and they perform a variety of manual tasks while under general supervision.

This position will require a valid driver's license and motor vehicle check.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Load and unload shipments of products and / or materials; record receipts and enter into computer system..
  • Stage materials for pick-up or shipping.
  • Move materials on and off shelves.
  • Assist in staging customer orders.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean and neat; may include sweeping, shoveling, picking up debris, and otherwise maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Maintain service parts area; log all incoming / outgoing parts.
  • Maintain inventory levels; record and report specific usage.
  • Recommend changes / improvements to work processes and procedures in writing.
  • Understand and meet safety requirements for equipment and tools.
  • Help lifting large units as requested; pick up and deliver material when necessary.
  • Perform assigned tasks thoroughly and on time.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Deliver needed materials to job sites.
  • May help with heavy lifting on installation job sites.
  • QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Basic math skills; legible writing.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
  • Knowledge of application and use of power tools.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Forklift operations certification required.

  • SALARY INFORMATION :

    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $17 to $25.25.

    In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
