Responsibilities Position is in an acute care setting within the Ultrasound department Patient cases include arterial and venous extremities, small parts, breast, carotid, OB / GYN, pediatric spine and head, abdomen, renal dopplers, pelvic, and echo studies Use of Philips Epic ultrasound machines, Siemens and GE x-ray equipment, and Meditech EMR Mixed shift schedule with varied start times, night shifts, weekend and holiday coverage, and call required Potential to float to X-ray coverage if qualified CAH (Critical Access Hospital) trauma designation Team scheduling with day-time radiology supervisor support; night techs work independently Must pass fit testing for respiratory protection; inability to remove facial hair and pass testing will result in contract cancellation Supportive team environment where cross-training and mutual assistance are emphasized Night techs are expected to operate independently with supervisor support by phone Orientation hours will vary based on experience Staff may be required to cover additional areas within radiology as needed Only candidates residing at least 50 miles from the facility will be considered Candidates may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year No clinical involvement required outside the imaging scope Limited RTO (7 days or fewer per contract); requests must be submitted upfront Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent sonography experience, including vascular, OB, breast, and abdomen small parts Active ARDMS and BLS certifications required Active ND state license required; license required if applicable, pending licenses not accepted Experience with Meditech EMR preferred X-ray experience preferred Driver’s license required for consideration Must provide two professional references : one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615203.
